Alain Le Toquin travels the world documenting the gardens of the world and their associated cultural heritage. His work Gardens of Peace has been ten years in the making and takes in everything from imperial France, renaissance Italy and bucolical English landscaping to the kitchen gardens of India, Japanese Zen, marshes of the American south, cactus fields and Arabian courtyards. The length and breadth of his interest is stunning and his photos, often taken at dawn or in the tranquillity of an approaching dusk are nothing less the beautiful.
