Crisp white linen on the tables and beautiful painted wallpaper are as far as this wine restaurant gets in pretention, this is a place for those who enjoy wine, not just the snobbery that often comes with it. A simple menu of cheese plates, salads and a few grill dishes round out the food menu, while the wine list covers about three pages and is very ‘democratically’ priced. The service is courteous and friendly and cigar smokers are happily hidden away in their own room, leaving the rest of the diners to enjoy views to the street and a smoke-free air.
