I just stayed at Hotel Royal last week at the end of a three-week Balkan journey. I found out about it from the Lonely Planet book. I put it on my credit card and the two nights I spent there cost $106 all together. The staff were really great, helpful and it was great that in the upstairs lounge there's a computer you can use for free to check email, etc. which I find to be somewhat rare for a hotel that is this inexpensive. They even printed out a few documents for me at the front desk and didn't charge me.The location is SUPERB. Close walking distance to the "Silicon Valley" street, the park, main shopping street with cafes and the fortress with the amazing views of the city and where the two rivers meet. My room was fine. I was alone so it was just a small twin bed, a desk and a bathroom that was fine....
