The Novi Sad Folklore Festival (NFF) aims to bring together a number of ensembles from the country and folk music scene, in order to preserve, present and promote the region's traditional folk traditions, music and games to a wider audience. Long known as the 'Serbian Athens' and cultural capital of the country, Novi Sad plays an important and unique role keeping alive such traditions.
