Sightseeing in Dobrna
The first thing you notice about anywhere in
Slovenia is the number of picturesque catholic churches. Dobrna and the surrounding area is no exception. From the pillar of the community -
Church of the Assumption, to the well preserved
St. Nicholas' church, they are essential to the character of Dobrna (as elsewhere in Slovenia). In addition, there are some interesting historical buildings (
Vila Ružička and
Mansion Gutenek) and the remains of a hilltop castle to keep your attention, especially whilst trekking one of the popular walking paths (see
Ana's trail).
