These days the central building of worship in Dobrna, the Church of the Assumption used to be the centre of numerous pilgrims. The current baroque church was built on the ruins of a previous one in 1844. The arch is covered by Tomaž Fantoni´s frescos and inside the church there are three marble headstones preserved, among them those of Matija and Margareta Gačnik - two important descendents of Dobrna´s nobility.
