 To feel the real Slovenia you MUST visit one of the abundant tourist farms! In Dobrna there are several well established farmhouses that are open for you to come and see, hear, smell and taste the old way of life here in the countryside. They vary in some aspects of what they offer - picnic/barbeque facilities (Marovšek), traditional black kitchen (Šumej) and ostrich eggs (Vrba) - but are consistent in a few specific offerings: home-made meals, excellent cured meat, home-baked bread and of course unsurpassed hospitality.
