Before ...Arriving early in the morning with a bad case of bed-head and a six month old unkept 'travellers' beard, the first salon was facing somewhat of a challenge. Luckily, the Toni&Guy-trained stylists were already wide awake and ready for action. We were welcomed in the chic reception of this newly renovated, city centre salon, were immediately offered a drink, then relaxed with a wonderfully therapeutic shampoo/head massage in ambient surroundings, separate from the main salon. The conversation was lively but never over-stepping the mark (i.e. getting too personal). We felt exclusive, given that the former president and other 'famous' Slovenes are among the clientele. The stylist was friendly yet clearly professional. Although on this visit we opted to keep the travellers beard (in line with our touristic roots), the new and tidy hairstyle was massive improvement. Whatsmore we found the experience thoroughly pleasurable.
