Suave, dark and moody, featuring 60s retro furniture with lots of beautiful-looking people sitting on it, ice-cold beer and cocktails, a long, long bar and waitresses with even longer legs. A nice café during the day, Sputnik transforms itself during the evenings into a much buzzier place with occasional special events.

It's a bit out of the way, unfortunately, so you won't just happen upon it while you're sightseeing. The number 6 bus stops nearby there. I think this café has a lot of potential though, if only more people knew about it and if it had a club feel to it in the evenings. It's trying for a classy or sophisticated image, which is probabably why you're likely to see some "beautiful-looking" patrons there, but I think the place might attract more guests if the staff relaxed a little and worked on a friendlier/warmer atmosphere. I hear it's a pretty good place to have a party at, so long as you're not looking for something way fancy or unusual, and you can reserve the upstairs floor and a deejay if you're planning something bigger.
