Divine

Originally opened in 1934, for more than eight decades the family-run Divine has been a popular destination for Ljubljana's residents to indulge their sweet tooths and soak up the romantic atmosphere of the lively riverside embankment. Nowadays Divine remains as beloved as ever, thanks in large part to their heavenly selection of homemade cakes, ice cream and other desserts, as well as their prime people-watching location. Whenever we find ourselves here, our order usually includes some bresaola-style cured beef (either by itself or in a sandwich) accompanied by a glass of wine from our favourite Slovene wine region.
