White tablecloths, heaps of quality Slovenian wine and a pleasing mix of bits and bobs on the walls including old farming implements, joints of meat and a television blaring out MTV cut this one out from the humdrum mainstream gostilna scene. Popular with both locals and foreigners alike, this really rather pleasing place dishes up above-par nosh such as horse prosciutto and steak, alongside such amusing concoctions as ‘yang pig baked in oven’ and mushroom turkey. Joking aside, what this place loses in translation it more than makes up for in the kitchen.
