Sokol

Sokol
Sokol is arguably the most famous of all the traditional Slovenian restaurants in Ljubljana, if not all Slovenia. Several different rooms, all decorated in a traditional, rustic manner and waiters clad in traditional clothing provide the perfect atmosphere to go along with the menu of traditional Slovene dishes and an excellent wine list. The desserts are equally punishing on the waistline, but well worth trying if you can still fit one in after your main course. Look for the cheeky red chef by the entrance just to the left of Town Hall.

(€7-21).

Pretty good food and reasonable prices. Right in the old town. Recommend it for traditional Slovenian food.
