Ljubljana Wine Route

The Ljubljana Vinska Pot, or Wine Route, is a popular wine-tasting event held twice a year in June and November. Around 80 stalls are set up along Stritarjeva ulica and Prešernov trg, offering taster samples in exchange for a ticket or two - which can be purchased from the ticket booth, along with your wine glass and handy glass holder to hang around your neck. As well as tasting wines from all of Slovenia's wine regions visitors can also sample some tasty culinary delights and enjoy traditional music and costume displays.
