Water Tower

Water Tower
Called 'Vodni stolp' in Slovene, this small tower was built in 1555 as part of the city's fortification against the Turkish invaders. It was also Slovenia's first ever winery and still functions partly as a wine shop today. The upper floor of the building is similar in style to a medieval banquet hall and is used for wine tasting.
