This grungy underground niche located through an arch just off Khreschtyk Street has been a haven for jazz, punk and alternative music enthusiasts for years now. The club regularly features renowned bands from the US and UK. Crowds tend to be a bit intense Friday and Saturday, but mellow out Sunday for jazz. Cover charges vary depending on the act. The club also hosts photo exhibitions and showings of art-house films nightly at 19:00. The music blares from 21:00 until 23:30. The full bar, decent selection of munchies, and hip staff round out 44’s attractions.
