Just got back from an excellent dinner. The location on Khreschatyk is just 2 doors down from hotel and once again it met my expectations for sushi in Kiev. Planata Sushi is unpretensious, unobtrusive and very family and couple friendly for a good meal at the end of the day that's not going to break the bank. I started with Sake, then had the kappa make, yakisoba noodles with veggies and a bowl of rice washed down with green tea. The tab came to about $20 US and was truly value for money. I didn't see any empty tables while I was there. The service was great - unobtrusive and my server knew what every one of her tables was doing all the time. This is my second visit and my fiancee, a sushi mad Ukrainian, loved the place. We'll go back for sure.
