  When I'm in Kiev, I like to unwind and have a decent cuppa at the Double Coffee on Kreschatyk. Yes, it's a chain coffee shop but all three of their locations I've been to have a different personality and there's no loss of quality or service at any of them. Weekday, weekend, day or night, it's a good place to chill out, people watch (a serious spectator sport in Kiev) and enjoy a consistantly good coffee or bit of pub chow if you're hungry.

  Try the one at 13 Kreshatyk. Lovely liquer coffees, good meals and service, very busy summer evenings.
