For people who know almost nothing about Ukrainian food and are not sure if it is worth spending a lot of money in a restaurant to find out what Ukrainians like the most, it is a good opportunity for a trial taste. Besides, you will find yourself in a real Ukrainian peasant house, so, enjoy! A favourite for business lunch the cafeteria style eatery and dining hall offers rustic basic but hearty food. GREAT for winter and ridiculously inexpensive. Do not expect any English speaking staff though definitely bring a friend to point out what is what.
Cheapest place in town to fill your belly. Quality food, very cheap, take the kids. Avoid 12 - 2pm rush hour, your drink will end up over your meal before you have a chance to pay. It can be a Scrum!! (August 2007)
