Fixed line telephone

Odesa has two different types of fixed line numbers – one type has six digits and the other has seven. To call a number inside Odesa just dial the number. To make a long-distance call, dial 8, wait for the dial tone and then dial the city code and number. To call Odesa from another city or town, dial 8, wait for the tone, dial Odesa’s city code (048 for seven digit numbers, or 0482 for six digit numbers) and then the number. To make an international call, dial 8, wait for the tone, then dial 10 plus the country code, city code and number itself.

Roaming
To call a fixed telephone in Ukraine dial 38 followed by the city code and phone number. While calling a mobile phone, use the operator’s code instead of a city code.
