Sir Richardson’s paintings of his island home have become true symbols of the beauty and rich culture of the Caribbean. He is recognised as a leading Caribbean ​impressionist and has been knighted and distinguished with several lifetime achievement awards. This museum is a treasure trove of island magic with magnificent art displayed in a charming 19th-century Creole landmark that also offers a European courtyard garden, a true blend of West Indian and French styles. Every Thursday from 10:30 - 14:00 Sir Roland Richardson paints at his Marigot gallery and you're cordially invited to watch this living legend work.
