From five-star towers and award-winning old town boutique hotels to world famous hostels and family-run guesthouses, our editorial team has sorted through well over a hundred venues, narrowing everything down to shortlists of worthy candidates in seven different categories. *Please don't cheat in our poll. By cheating we mean using technological means to vote multiple times in the same poll. Individual computers, phones and other devices are allowed to vote once per week for the duration of the competition.
