Malbork

Sklepy Cynamonowe

Directly outside the Malbork Welcome Centre in the centre of town you’ll find (in summer) a recreation of an old town market with stalls selling regional products. Among the goods on offer in the parade of wooden stalls are local breads, buns and cakes (including a bread called ‘kołacz’ named after its shape), sweets, local meats, cheeses, honey, yeasts, juices, meads and liquers, spices, fruit and vegetables. It’s also a good place to stop by for a beer as there is one stall with craft beers produced in the nearby Gosciszewo brewery.

In addition to food and drink, you’ll find locally produced wooden toys, amber and other jewellery as well as a whole load of artists – caricaturists, painters and portraitists, street musicians, pre-war photography services and sculptors. And there’s also a program of events and historical re-enactments.
