Meštrović Atelier - Ivan Meštrović Museums

Meštrović is arguably Croatia's most famous sculptor and artist. He actually lived with his family and worked in this house from 1920's until 1942 when he left Croatia. And it is here where he complited many of his art works and monuments including The Indians - a monument in Chicago.
The well-publicised exhibition ‘Rodin in Meštrović’s Zagreb’ is being held at the Art Pavilion, however, one grand feature of his opus  will be on show in the atrium of the Atelier Meštrović until September 20th; it is Rodin’s monument to Victor Hugo (1890).
