This place may look grotty but it’s not short on novelties. Find prams and bed frames nailed to the ceiling, pics of Lennon, Snoop and Hendrix on the walls, and a TV set that predates man on the moon. Local radio gets plenty of airplay here, bad news at the best of times, though that does nothing to deter an after-lecture crowd from flocking here, magnanimously sharing one beer among themselves.
