Restaurants in Burgas

share

Eating out in Burgas is part of the holiday lifestyle, especially in the summer months. This usually means a plate of freshly fried 'tsatsa' (sprats) or 'safrid' (sardines), washed down with a cold beer at one of the many 'birarias' around town and along the beach. Another favourite is the fast food pizza wedge or your international fast food outlets (in the malls and city centre) which, let's face it, if you have hungry children in tow is always a safe bet. There are plenty of restaurants serving mediocre food - if you stick to the simple things, like traditional Bulgarian salads and grilled meats or fish, you can't go wrong. After much searching, we also discovered some top quality restaurants in Burgas for those who are willing to pay a little extra. It is worth bearing in mind that good restaurants can get very busy during the summer months, so either go early or book a table.
Those restaurants listed here are by no means an exhaustive list, but they have been tried and tested or recommended by expats. You are always invited to give us your feedback on our website.
