Reached via a massive through arch bridge on the road to Spodnja Idrija Mostičer is a popular place for local families to gather for important birthdays, wedding receptions, anniversaries and other special events. While the outside is rather nondescript, the interior has character in spades, with wooden beam ceilings, a bar for grizzled fisherman to congregate at before heading home to their wives, and a room dedicated to Josip Broz Tito - we're still unclear if he ever ate here, but his portrait is on the wall. Fresh river fish is the highlight of the menu, and dining outside along the river near the children's playground is a must if the weather allows for it.
