The Stanserhorn is an easily accessible peak with spectacular views of central Switzerland’s mountains and lakes. The ride to the top has two sections: first a funicular, and then a cable car, with the world’s first cable car with an open upper deck. The deck has room for up to 30 people to stand and enjoy the ride under the open sky. At the summit there's a revolving restaurant and a panorama trail. The region also offers plenty of hiking options - for example you can walk to the top from Stans in about four hours. Getting to Stans from Lucerne takes as little as 15 min (by train).
