Personal, intimate, thought-provoking, and offering incredible insights into the artist's source of inspiration, work and life, Banele Khoza's How are you doing? is the kind of exhibition you will want to take time to explore.

How are you doing? is a response to what the artist describes as a prolonged bout of feeling blocked creatively, and having found a new source of artistic vision and flow following a residency in White River at The Artist's Press. It is here that the artist collaborated with a team to produce his latest print work. The work on show crosses different mediums and includes the artist's notebooks which we felt inclined to pore over and soak up every word. There is great beauty and pathos in all that is expressed, a grappling with vulnerability and a wrestling with how one's creativity needs to be fuelled, fostered and nurured – often not a priority in our busy, task-filled and social lives. Through a combination of artistic media and immersive spatial designs, the exhibition offers a unique opportunity to become part of ongoing conversations surrounding well-being.

While it's a small exhibition it's impact is immense.

This is Khoza's second solo exhibition at BKhz.
