Poland's brewing history goes back centuries, with one of Europe's oldest breweries located in an old Abbey in Szczyrzyc. Poland's craft beer scene has literally exploded recently, with local microbrews replacing large multinational brands in pubs across the country. The upcoming 6th edition of Kraków's Beerweek Festival brings many of the best Polish craft beers to Stadion Cracovia; guests pay to enter and then get discounted prices for delicious pints from dozens of top brewers, whose stands line the grounds. The three-day programme includes stand-up comedy and evening film screenings, but mostly this is a huge craft beer garden with dozens of food trucks; there's also a kids' play area. If you know the difference between an India and American Pale Ale, you shouldn't skip this event.
