With a spellbound swan princess and a prince at odds with himself, Swan Lake is classical ballet at its best. While this beloved fairy tale has been transformed into mesmerizing dance scenes many times, Patrice Bart’s production is based on the traditional choreography of the swan formations, and gives the characters a new psychological depth.
