Bucharest Art Safari – to be held this year in Piata George Enescu from May 11-20 - is one of eastern Europe’s biggest and most exciting art events. It showcases Romanian masterpieces and international art to nearly 90,000 visitors via a central exhibition, museum pavilion, parallel events and educational programmes. 

This year’s edition – the fifth – is curated by acclaimed Romanian and international experts, with the central exhibition the work of Herve Mikaeloff, while Alina Serban is looking after the museum pavilion. The event will be the biggest Art Safari yet, and will showcase a wider range of historic and new art, as well as building on its successful legacy of bringing art to the attention of children and young people.
