Now here's that rarest of breeds: an Irish pub in Bucharest that merits the description. Located on central Piata Amzei in one of the best spots the city has to offer (complete with a large terrace) it serves many a great pint, poured by staff who know what they are doing and who will not keep you waiting. There is good food too - way ahead of anything you expect from an Irish pub - including a decent Irish breakfast, and Irish pie and a beef sandwich as good as any in the Romanian capital. In fact all the beef is amazing (and there is a big selection on the menu). If you are feeling particularly peckish the Irish rack of pork made with Guinness is a must, while the meat plate for sharing is ideal for groups. All in all, a winner.
