The Chinese Association in South Africa celebrates Chinese New Year and the association's 120th anniversary by the welcoming the Year of the Rabbit with dancing Chinese dragons and lions, Chinese drumming and singing and special Martial Arts displays.

A variety of Chinese food will be on sale from a various street food stalls. You can also expect perfomances from the Fo Guang Shan Nan Hua arts group. Events run throughout the evening, starting from 15:00 and culminating in a huge fireworks display at 21:00.
