In Ljubljana you don’t have to venture far to find signs of the holidays, as for the entire month of December the old town and most of the city centre will be aglow with millions of tiny twinkling lights, and the cobbled pedestrian streets packed with revellers of all ages and nationalities - snapping photos, sipping mulled wine and generally making merry. Indeed, even the most Grinch-like visitors (and residents) will find it hard to keep their heart from growing at least three sizes whilst visiting.
