Beton Hala

more than a year ago

Below the old town, at the confluence of Belgrade’s two mighty rivers, the Sava and Danube, you will find Beton Hala, one of the most popular places for, well, any type of venue. It's the perfect spot for a coffee with friends, a nice brunch with business partners, a romantic dinner from various parts of the world with your significant other, or spend your night mingling in several popular clubs where people come to see and be seen. Belgrade's Beton Hala truly has something for everyone!

Druga La Piazza

A younger sibling of the restaurant La Piazza, Druga (meaning second) La Piazza is as good as its predecessor, but at a location somewhat closer to the city centre, and with some additions to their menu. Along with their famous pizza, they offer meat dishes, carefully selected by their Italian associates. Their menu changes every six months, prior to which their chefs get a special training in Italy.

Temperament

With stone brick walls and back seating, ivy leaves and spherical lanterns hanging from the ceiling, the first impression that this place gives is of an authentic ambience, and it's a good one. The food served here should satisfy even the pickiest of eaters, as their seafood is exquisite and the meat dishes hold their own as well.

The Bank

Opened in Beton Hala, near the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, in 2016, The Bank is known for its R'n'B parties, with some of the most popular Serbia DJs spinning here on a regular basis. It's a medium-sized club by Belgrade's standards, which can host parties for up to 400 people. It's almost always full, so you'll definitely want to make reservations in advance if you want any hope of getting in.

Sofa

You'll find Sofa in Beton Hala on the shores of the river Sava. Sofa's interior is filled with paintings, which give it a special appeal. With a plethora of comfy armchairs and a home-like atmosphere, Sofa is a great pace for an afternoon coffee with friends or a dinner with your loved one. Whether your choice is tasty tagliatelle with beef or shrimps, we suggest that you save some room for 'Sofa', their house dessert.

Hush Hush

What happens when you creatively fuse traditional Serbian and international cuisine? Well, you get Hush Hush in Beton Hala. This restaurant serves up many different types of dishes, and is sure to have something for anybody. In the evenings a band performs live for guests, adding to the pleasant ambience of the place. Every Sunday, there's a special daytime programme, from 13:00 until 18:00 called ‘Sunday Brunch’.

Toro Gastro Bar

This is a place for all meat lovers, which should be clear from the name, but surprisingly, they also have vegan options. The meats they use are carefully selected from the finest farms all over Europe, and the veggies are organic, thus making a delightful combination of the two. All of that combined with some of the most popular cocktails, or wine, depending on your preferences.

Gotik

Located in the popular Beton Hala waterfront area, Gotik might be one of the newest nightspots in Belgrade, but it already regularly hosts some of the biggest names in Serbian music. A true luxury clubbing experience, with state-of-the-art light and sounds systems and simply gorgeous interior design, it's not difficult to see why it attracts crowds of beautiful and well-to-do Belgraders.
