After being postponed due to the Coronavirus, Restaurant Week, or Teden Restavracij in Slovene, returns to Slovenia this summer, with restaurants across the country participating in the largest nationwide culinary event of its kind! From 12-21 June 2020 special multi-course gourmet meals prepared by the very best Slovene chefs will be available for €19, giving locals foodies and interested visitors the chance to taste Slovene cuisine at its finest without doing major damage to their wallet. There are some 100 restaurants in total taking part, including around two dozen in and around Ljubljana, and extensive details of all the venues can be found on the official website (Slovene language only for now). It’s highly recommendable to make reservations well in advance, as the most popular restaurants (such as JB in Ljubljana) will have surely been fully booked before the event even begins.
