Dublin

Cultural walking in and around Dublin

more than a year ago
Make the most of the Dublin scenery and indulge in a spot of ‘culturcise’. We’ve coined the phrase for cultural trips that incorporates a bit of physical exercise. So what’s on our to do list?

Phoenix Park - Europe’s largest urban park and home to the President of Ireland, Dublin zoo and more. Take a guided tour of the Presidential home on Saturday.

The Sugar Loaf mountain is the east coast’s most prominent peak and easily accessible from the city centre. Pack a bottle of water and good shoes for an invigorating hike with great views.

One of the most beautiful seaside walks in Dublin is the Bray to Greystones path. Keep your eyes peeled for seals and other wildlife off the east coast. Be sure to treat yourself afterwards to some fish and chips (a must have for any visit to the seaside in Ireland).

A must do on any culturcise list is Glendalough. Its breathtaking natural beauty makes for a priceless day out. Tour the seven churches that remain from this monastic site, founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century.
