We’re not usually big fans of hotel bars, but the funky Blue Collar in the former industrial area known as Strijp-S gets a pass. Two life size portraits of, some would say, diametrically opposed artists, who changed music serve as its most notable piece of decoration. What lead singer Lemmy of the English rock band Motörhead did for hard rock, German composer Ludwig van Beethoven did for 18th-century classical music and their contributions are both honoured here. Enjoy a German Warsteiner brew or some snacks from your stylish blue bar stool that looks like it was taken from a cruise ship casino.
