Architectural Elements

With the exception of the Officer’s House, few visible sickles and hammers are left on Tallinn’s buildings. There are a couple of places where you can still see some rather Soviet-looking stars though. One of them is on the corner of Suur-Karja and Vana-Posti, (D-3), in a building which used to house some offices of the Soviet navy. On the same square you can see the Sőprus cinema with more socialist design elements near the roof.
