Exploring Ljubljana by Bicycle

The tour begins in the city centre and continues along a circular route, passing all of the city's major sights. Participants pedal along the pleasant embankments of the Ljubljanica all the way to the University Botanical Gardens. After a short stop to browse the various flora on display here, the tour continues to the vegetable gardens of Krakovo and onwards to Tivoli Park where participants can enjoy a longer rest and a small picnic lunch. The last leg of the tour visits the famed Metelkova Mesto alternative cultural centre located in former army barracks near the train station and then returns to the tour starting point at the Slovenian Tourist Information Centre.
