Dating from the 16th or the 17th century, Štip’s former bezistan, or covered marketplace, is today a protected building that houses a small art gallery that’s not always open when it should be. To have a look inside when it’s locked, run into one of the neighbouring shops and ask if someone can help find somebody with a key.
