During the time of PRL, logos still played a role in the bland and grey world most foreigners from the west envisioned how life was in Poland at the time. The fifth edition of Polish Design Polish Designers series examines these calls to the evils of capitalism. The exhibition will showcase the work of Karol Śliwka, a famous graphic designer who was responsible for over 400 logos used during these times. The collection includes designs, sketches, notes, photographs, pictures, and pieces from his private archive that have never before been made available to the public. It will also include other items from various private and public collections from around Poland.
