The outdated décor of this old west Berlin bistro - grey carpeting, aqualight candleholders and an exposed heating duct – is tolerated by the business people having a casual lunch and the grandmothers chatting over coffee and cake. Vegetables are cooked just right and the Königsberger Klöps (tender meatballs with caper sauce) make for good comfort food.
