The reconstructed, historic Adlon hotel has views of the Brandenburger Tor and Under den Linden, unfussy 1920s-style rooms with cherry wood, black marble and rich fabrics, and the staff provides impeccable service. Often voted the best hotel in Germany and even Europe, this is in fact the only place to sleep in Berlin.
