A boutique hotel for old ladies, complete with staff in traditional costumes, dolls and train sets in the corridors and rooms bursting with chintz. Not that it’s a bad place. Indeed, far from it. It’s money well spent here, with spotless rooms and charming receptionists. Absolutely ideal for a busload of retired people looking for the Germany they once knew all those years ago.
