Celebrating what would be the 95th birthday of Günter Grass, a citizen of Gdańsk and a laureate of the Nobel Prize for Literature, the eponymous gallery in Gdańsk is hosting a selection of the author's lesser-known body of artworks and sculptures. As a resident of the Wrzeszcz district and the son of a Kashubian woman, many of the same motifs that grace his literary works can likewise be found in his visual accomplishments as well. Two water colours, produced by Grass in the 1990s and still largely unknown to the broader public, will make a special appearance at the exhibition.
