Much of the area’s activity is located in Hyde Park Corner, the swankiest shopping centre filled with international designer stores, ladies who lunch, and the rest of the cappuccino-sipping, Porsche Cayenne four-wheel-drive-owning, groomed and manicured Joburg set. Practice not gasping at R15 000 price tags for a dress and you’ll fit in just fine.
