Soweto Theatre celebrates Africa Day with an all-day festival that promises a packed line-up of top South African bands. Exciting local acts on the programme include the acclaimed reggae band Tidal Waves, Soweto-based Urban Village whose exciting alternative music fuses traditional and contemporary rural and urban sounds, Sun Xa Experiment known for their soothing avant-garde blend of ancestral spirit influences and the uplifting African jazz-soul sounds of Afrika Cele.
