The Design Assemblage is a 'think and do' space for the design community which hosts regular free talks led by local design industry leaders, as well as book launches and presentations, as a way to "inspire creativity and encourage conversation". 

At this The Design Assemblage book club event creative leader and entrepreneur Pepe Marais presents his latest book Growing Greatness - A Journey Towards Personal and Business Mastery.

Marais, a graduate of a Cape Town art school, founded his own creative marketing agency, an enterprising success which ran smoothly until Marais' personal and business life gradually began to disintegrate in 2006. At the lowest point of his life, Marais discovered a fundamental insight that became the foundation on which he would rebuild his life and career. In this book Marais outlines in-depth this business methodology and the many important lessons it holds for any ambitious entrepreneur.
