Everard-Read and Circa Galleries present concurrent exhibitions by sculptors David Browne and Robert Slingsby that are both heavily influenced by the atrocities the artists witnessed growing up in Cape Town during apartheid, with Browne bearing witness to the brutal destruction of District 6, while Slingsby willingly exiled himself from South Africa following the violent student riots of 1976.
